Engagement is the mindset, state and phenomenon in which a staff member or participant in an activity is fully focused and committed on the task; willingly and positively, with self-motivation to apply themselves fully to delivering the required results.

When someone is performing a task they don’t enjoy, don’t really want to do, but feel obligated to do so, they are clearly not engaged.

So What is Gamification?

Gamification is the process of modeling the tasks at hand around a game of some sort  While it works for training of staff, it is really effective for daily work life as well.
